I know, I know, another endorsement, Amber.
But I want to tell you a little bit about why this one is important to me.
I am incredibly honored to earn the endorsement of Indivisible Ventura, an organization that has become one of the most active voices in our community for protecting democracy, defending civil rights, standing up for public education, and holding elected officials accountable.
Those are values I have believed in long before I ever decided to run for office, which is exactly why this endorsement means so much to me.
Why Endorsements Matter
People sometimes ask why endorsements matter.
They are important because they give voters another lens through which to evaluate a candidate. Organizations like Indivisible spend time looking over the candidates, asking difficult questions, reviewing records, and deciding who they believe will best represent the values they fight for every day.
When you start looking at the endorsements a campaign receives, you start to see a pattern. They tell a story about who that candidate is, who believes in them, and what they will prioritize once they are elected.
As these endorsements continue to stack up, I hope they are giving you a pretty clear picture of who I am and the values I will bring to the Ventura Unified School District Board of Education.
Thank You
Finally, thank you to Adrienne Coulter, President of Indivisible Ventura, and to every one of the organization’s volunteers for the tireless work you do to make good trouble every single day. Your advocacy makes our community stronger, and I am truly grateful for your trust and support.
