Our schools are not just classrooms. They are one of Ventura’s largest economic engines.
More than 2,300 educators, classified professionals, and staff show up every day to serve Ventura Unified students. That is over 4% of all employment within the City of Ventura.
When we invest in the people who educate our children, we strengthen our neighborhoods, support local families, and build Ventura’s future.
Standing With Healthcare Workers
I am also proud to stand with our healthcare workers.
Proposition 40 would create a one-time 5% tax on the net worth of California billionaires to generate tens of billions of dollars for California. By law, 90% of the revenue must be dedicated to healthcare, helping protect Medi-Cal and other public health services at a time when federal healthcare is being gutted by the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill.”
The Choice
YES on Amber: Stand with our educators.
YES on Prop 40: Stand with our healthcare workers.
Let us invest in the people who invest in us by voting for the people and propositions that can make our community stronger and more economically sound.
